First, a sincere THANK YOU for reading my newsletter.
Every time I open MY email and see all the stuff I could
be reading it makes me appreciate you all the more.
In my weekly teleconferences one thing is becoming
apparent and it shouldn't be a big surprise to me or you
for that matter.
People are looking for ways to make extra money, preferably
from home for any number of reasons. One caller last week
had a question about a couple of income 'opportunities' for
his wife, who would like to stay home with the children.
The questions he had revolved around stuffing envelopes
and making crafts at home which you'd then send into
a company and get paid for your work.
Both of these are time-tested scams but it reminded me
of something. My first ever book was called 'Get R!ch
Quick EXPOSED!'
It was based on my 'unintentional lifetime study' of the
get ri*h quick industry. :>)
Sadly, I discovered people were not really interested in
buying a book about get ri@h schemes that did NOT work.
Oh well...I am still a WEALTH of information on the
subject and so, the teleconference this week will be about that.
If you've ever wondered about some moneymaking
system or product, call in and ask me what the real deal is.
But first, I think it important to be realistic.
If this is all new to you, making $1000 a day or a week
or a month is not very likely your first few days as an
entrepreneur.
Before you can ride a bike you need to learn how to walk.
Make $10 first.
Then $25
Then $50
Then $100
Making $1000 if you've never made $100 on your own
can really be an overwhelming thought and it's likely
you'll be discouraged before you even make 25 cents.
So ask yourself right now...HOW DO I
MAKE $10?
-What can I sell?
-What service can I provide?...to whom?
-Who wants something of value I have?
-Who wants something done that I can do?
Of course, $10 is practically NOTHING today.
It won't even fill half your gas tank unless
you have a motorcycle.
BUT it will prove to you and your subconscious
that you CAN make your own money. You
don't have to rely on an employer for your
paycheck.
Until you've actually experienced it yourself
you can't really understand the powerful
feeling that is.
I was roped into helping one of my brothers
move recently. I really didn't have any notice
of this or I would have been "out of town".
Anyway, in cleaning out the garage attic
he found an 'auto desk', brand new in the box.
He said 'you want it'? I said SURE!
I didn't know what it was worth and I don't
need a desk in my car but I knew I could
sell it on ebay.
I just looked at the price and this baby retails
for $179.00. A quick survey of completed
auctions at ebay.com shows sale prices for
similar units of $89 to $137.50.
Yahoo! Quite frankly I could have gotten
a LOT more stuff during this move which
I could sell at a profit (since I got them FREE)
but I just wanted to be done! Manual labor
and I have never gotten along. :>)
Now, please don't be one of those people
who write to me after I send something
like this and whine 'it must be nice to
have rich friends who throw away good
stuff'. (I really do get email like this.)
That is a cop-out.
I use my story only as an example of what
can happen when you are asking good
questions and are on the lookout for
opportunities to make money.
The process I went through is known as
chatteling. Chatteling (or buying & selling
personal property) is really the fastest
way I know of to make extra money.
If you know how to do it, do it today. If
not, consider 'The Beginner's Guide to
Chatteling'.
I bought the business from the author back in
December. He emailed me on Sunday to tell me
it was his birthday and suggest I offer
a special price in honor of it.
The nerve! Do I go around telling people my
birthday is November 23rd and my waist is 36
and my shirt size is 16 34/35? No, I don't!
