This is going to be a quick one.

I'm headed to Bethesda, Maryland for a couple days this
afternoon and I need to finish packing.

I got an email this week asking my opinion on companies that
offer to negotiate away up to 60% of your credit card debt.

It's been awhile since I've been asked about this awful
idea so I thought I'd share my answer with you.  I'd also
appreciate it if you could share your experience (anonymously)
with such companies.
