Read this recently...

"At the current rate of wealth creation in America, by the year
2005, out of one hundred workers age sixty-five :  one will be
wealthy ($5 million net worth or more), four will be financially
independent ($1 million -$4.9 million net worth), forty-one will
have to continue working, and fifty-four will be dead broke
according to The Bull & Bear Financial Report."



Of course, 2005 was last year but I've seen or heard stats like
that for years.

On Sunday I started surveying people who were leaving my site
without making the investment  in my "How To Own Your Paycheck Again!"
program.  To date I've had 108 responses and 97
of the reasons people didn't invest are variations of "I'm broke". 

My question to them would be "what are you doing about it?"   I can
show you were you can get access to thousands of years and millions of
dollars worth of information for no cost at all.  It's called the local library.



There you'll find dozens if not hundreds of books on how to save
money and how to make money.  Pick one or two, take them home and
read them.  Find something that looks doable for you and then DO IT!

HUMOR PAUSE
I was checking out at the local Wal-Mart with just a few items and
the lady behind me put her things on the belt close to mine. I
picked up one of those "dividers" that they keep by the cash
register and placed it between our things so they wouldn't get
mixed. After the girl had scanned all of my items, she picked up
the "divider", looking it all over for the bar code so she could
scan it. Not finding the bar code she said to me, "Do you know how
much this is?" I said to her "I've changed my mind, I don't think
I'll buy that today." She said "OK," and I paid her for the things
and left. She had no clue to what had just happened. (Note from
Leo..this is not my story...wish it was...got it from a joke
website)

I've long said that just $300 extra per month would dramatically
help most families.  Yet I suspect not too many families crack a
book to learn how to find or make that money.  How about you?  Do
you complain about your lack of mon*ey without taking steps to
improve your situation?

Even if your money situation is good you should be reading
information on investing and making money and saving money and self
improvement, CONSTANTLY.  



In life, ONE is generally a BAD number...one income source, one supplier,
one perspective etc.

Gas prices are rising again so make your commute valuable by
listening to educational books on tape.  (Think Library) You've got
a rolling university.  USE IT!

Need some momentum to get you started?  Go to e-bay.com.   Once
there, think about things in your home you don't want or need
anymore.

Now type those things into the ebay search box. 

I'll bet you find people BUYING what you have to sell.  The more specialized
items you have the higher prices you are likely to get.

As an example, take 5 books off your shelf that are on the same
topic and put them up as one auction.  If new, those books might
cost someone $120...but if you can get $30 or $40 for the lot, you
should be happy. Repeat.

My buddy Dan made $309 in the last couple weeks selling old books
and tapes on eBay.  He's not done yet.  So if you know how to
"eBay" do it.  Even if mon*ey is not tight, getting another income
stream is NEVER a bad idea.
