* The average household spent $42 on books in 2005
Translation: "Rich people have big libraries...poor people
have big TVs."

* One speaker sold his 4 year old sneakers on ebay for $21

* The same speaker reported:
  -A broken radar detector sold for $17
  -Six half-used lipsticks sold for $53
  -An empty bottle of cologne sold for $43 ($35 new and full)
  -A laptop with cracked screen sold for $1100 ($1000 to fix)

* 724,000 people have left their full-time jobs to sell on ebay.

*You're not a goose.  You don't HAVE to fly south every winter.
Translation: you don't have to do things the way you've always
done them!
