We received a note in the mail from the place we buy the kids' curriculum for homeschooling. We had a
$13 credit...did we want them to send it? We called and found out it was a $77 credit because we pay
cash.
I just bought a new car about a month ago. I received my
permanent registration in the mail
today, along with a check for $51.50 for
overpayment on the registration!

My son worked at a summer camp in Northern Michigan for the past three months. He agreed to volunteer
because they only normally hire 18 year-olds. He's started school now, but yesterday we received a
$1000 check in the mail from the camp for my son, with no explanation. I guess we won't question their
decision.

I take care of my daughter's business credit card processing accounts. On a recent statement I questioned
$44.50 worth of charges for supplies. When I checked with my daughter, she said, "Oh no, I've never paid
for supplies. We're supposed to get supplies free." I went back and found the same charge in March
and now have gotten credited $89.

I just found $20 in the
pocket of my jeans (hanging in the closet). I had 3 people wish
to keep
the copy of a book I had loaned them--$30 x 3 = $90.

So I'm using my
time at home yesterday to do some housecleaning and there on a
bookshelf I find
two checks totaling $238.93
received in February for CD sales (my husband is a musician).
