Even though I have a degree in Finance from Siena College in Upstate
NY, shortly after graduation in 1990, I started my own carpet cleaning
business. Isn't that the dream of every parent? Spend a lot of money
on your kids college education and they start a cleaning business?
Despite that degree in Finance, I proceeded to get into financial
trouble, primarily with credit cards and the car loan.
In November of 1996 I took a class on how to get out of debt fast.
A light bulb went ON that night and I decided to teach a class just
like that.
In the twelve years I have been teaching my class, I have identified
10 of the most common financial mistakes people make that mess up
their lives. The effects of the class have been phenomenal--read
some of the stories from people who have attended. It's getting
letters from those that have attended that make my classes the most
rewarding.
