THIS
ISSUE: Does this describe you?

Hi!
Thanks for opening up.
I got some good responses to my issue
last week about preparing now for the
holidays.
Here is my favorite from Terri in CA.
Leo:
Thanks for the newsletters. Just wanted
to tell you that your article rings
home with me! I start my Christmas
buying in August when the things
really go on sale for school/fall.
I have a large group to buy for
(typically as low as 50 and as high as
80 presents / year between home and
business). If I waited to do
this until the last minute...it would
really put a pinch on my finances.
I create my list, put it on a 8x10
piece of paper, and put it in a place
that I will always know where it is at,
(like the drawer in the dining
room hutch!) and as I buy, I check off
my list.
The items are stored in the back of
the closet, kept in the store
bags, and then on Thanksgiving night,
I take out my list and review
whom I still need to buy for.
Last year, I hired a high school student
to wrap my presents at the dining room
table, which turned out to be the best
money I've spent in a long time!
She worked several hours, I got work
done, laundry, grocery shopping, etc,
and at the end of the day, my gifts were all
under the tree....complete! And, she
was very happy to have earned some Christmas
shopping money for herself!
Just thought I would share that your advice
is right on!

Thanks so much Terri! Please add me to
your list...what is one more when 50-80
are involved? Surely at least one person
has to fall out of favor between August
and December?! :>)
My waist is 36!
But seriously, Terri's note had one
extra good lesson most people overlook...
hiring someone very inexpensively
to do the "$6 per hour
work". (or whatever the rate)
If hiring this person frees
up you to do higher value activities,
everyone wins!
I'll always remember the reader who wrote and said
she figured out it was much smarter to pay someone
to clean her house for $40 while she took an extra
shift at the hospital and earned $100.
Don't mow your own lawn if you can do something
else at the same time which would MAKE you more
money than it would cost to have a neighborhood kid
do it.
If you DON'T have something more profitable you
could be doing you need to find something.
That's all for this week.
Thanks again for reading.
I really do
appreciate it.
If I can answer any questions for you, please drop me an email at
Leo AT LeoQuinn.com and if I don't know the answer I can point you
in the right direction.
Sincerely,
Leo

P.S. Leo- Thanks for the link to Emergency Cash Generators!
I don't usually fall for such things, since most of them are rip-offs,
but I took a chance on this one because the link came from you.
And I love it! The ideas are original and clever. There's an idea
there for just about anyone -- extravert or introvert -- and it's
triggered so many additional ideas of my own! LuAnn.

The first thing I ever bought online was a book by Jim Daniels on
the topic of email. I think that was way back in 1998. Jim is still
putting out great stuff and you can learn a lot just by watching him.
He has a new report called "The New Age Wo*rk at Home Plan:
Internet-Based Financial Independence in 10 Simple Steps"
You can read about it at
